Do you need a lifestyle to tweak?
First, ask yourself: Are you treating your body properly?
“With my patients, I’m talking about the three pillars of health: sleep, diet, and exercise,” says Theodore Friedman, MD.
“If you do not get a good sleep, it is difficult to eat well, and it is difficult to exercise. The same applies to the opposite. They are all linked together.”
So try not to change yourself from sight. Adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Eat a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables and lean protein, and get a regular dose of physical activity.

If you’ve checked all of these boxes and still continue throughout your days, it may be time to check for potential medical causes of fatigue.
It is a disorder that makes it difficult for your blood to transport oxygen around your body. A common type is called “iron deficiency” anemia.
Iron works like a train car transports oxygen in your blood. “Low-iron people don’t have enough cars on their train,” says Friedman. “They are tired, they get dizzy when they stand up, they have a fog in the brain, and they pound in the heart.”
Your doctor can check for anemia with a simple blood test.
Doctors don’t know exactly why people are so tired. One possible reason is that your body uses a lot of energy to deal with frequent changes in blood sugar levels.
What doctors know is that fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of diabetes. She has other signs, too. You may feel thirsty and need to go to the bathroom often.
Problems with your thyroid gland
It is a small butterfly-shaped gland located in your neck. It creates a hormone that helps you control how you use energy. When your thyroid gland is beyond the limit, you are outside the target.
“People who suffer from an underactive thyroid will feel tired,” says Friedman. “Their cells are not working well, they are slow, and their reactions are slow.”
Your doctor may test your blood for thyroid hormone to see if the cause is your fatigue.
Severe fatigue is a common symptom of congestive heart failure, which occurs when it is not properly pumped. If you suffer from this, fatigue may get worse when exercising. You may also have swelling in your arms or legs and shortness of breath.
This disorder prevents you from getting enough oxygen at bed, which means that you will not get real rest during the night.
“The brain notices that you are not getting rid of your carbon dioxide, and it wakes up briefly in a state of anxiety,” says Lisa Shivs, director of the Sleep Medicine Center at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. You don’t realize this, making it difficult to know why you are drowsy during the day.
“Don’t go into REM – sleep, which makes you feel better,” says Shivs.
