1. Choose healthy fats
We all need fat in our diet because it provides us with energy. But different types of fats affect our health in different ways.
Healthy fats in foods like unsalted nuts, seeds, avocados, oily fish, olive oil, rapeseed oil and the sun, which increases your risk of heart disease. These products are mainly found in animal products and prepared foods such as:
Red and processed meat
Biscuits, cakes, pies, and pastries.
It’s still a good idea to cut back on oils in general, so try grilling, grilling, or cooking foods instead.
2. Reducing added sugar
We know that dispensing sugar can be difficult at first, so small, practical trade-offs are a good starting point when you’re trying to reduce excess sugar. Switching sugary drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices with water, regular milk, or tea and coffee without sugar can be a good start.
You can always try low or calorie-sweetened sweeteners (also known as artificial sweeteners) to help you relieve. Eliminating these added sugars can help you control blood glucose levels and help keep your weight down. If you have a diaem, this is still important for managing diabetes and you should not cut this. However, if you regularly have a low rate of infection, it is really important to discuss this matter with your diabetes team.
3. Be smart with snacks
If you want a snack, choose yogurt, unsalted nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables instead of french fries and chocolate chips. But keep an eye on your fixed parts – this will help you monitor your weight
4. Drink alcohol reasonably
Alcohol is high in calories, so if you drink and try to lose weight, consider going down. Try to keep a maximum of 14 units per week. But spread it to avoid binge drinking, and go several days a week without alcohol.
If you are taking insulin or other diabetes medications, it is also not a good idea to drink them on an empty stomach. This is because alcohol can increase the possibility of hypoglycemia.
5. Never mind what is called diabetic food
To say that food “diabetes” is now against the law. This is because there is often no too much fat and calories in similar products, and it can still affect blood sugar levels. These foods can sometimes have a laxative effect.
6. Get minerals and vitamins from foods
There is no evidence that mineral vitamin supplements help you control your diabetes. Therefore, you are not required to take anything from your health care team, such as folic acid for pregnancy, you do not need to take supplements.
